Originally the writings of the Apocrypha were simply understood to be additional books of the Bible. The Eastern Orthodox Church as well as the Roman Catholic Church recognized the Apocrypha as a part of their Canon of Scriptures. The reformers, however, recognized the dubious origin of several of these writings and therefore designated them as being important historical documents, written during the time between the Old and New Testaments, but did not recognize these writings as having the same authority as the Scriptures.
We are pleased to make these writings available to you in this hardback King James Version. We highly recommend this valuable resource not only for reading the true story of Hanukkah, but also for great insight into the times and writings leading up to the life of Yeshua the Messiah. This is a valuable resource for any student of the Scriptures.
